The local government invests money on building something for attracting tourists. Do you agree or not? (250words)

The local government has been investing money to build a wax museum to attract more tourists into the city. Our city’s economy is relying on the tourism. Hundreds of thousands of people visit our city every year, and without them our city won’t be as fun as it is.

Mountains, sea beaches and natural forests which surround our city attracts a lot of visitors from all around the world. There’s always something to do for anyone who come here. In summer and spring, people can visit the sea beaches, enjoy variety of flowers in numerous gardens, and fish in lakes or beaches. It is a very ideal place for visitors to ski and enjoy the snow capped mountains in the winter and fall. However, there is something missing in the city to attract people when the weather is cold.

Wax museum would be a perfect place for visitors to spend some time in the city while shopping at malls. There are not enough attractions in the city except some of the best shopping places in the world. Many of existing museums have reached their limits and can’t expand more to attract more people. The planned wax museum would become the biggest wax museum in the world. It would take five years to open it to the public. Our city do need a new attraction to the tourists. Therefore, it is a very good decision for the local government to build a wax museum which would help boosting our economy and image of our city.

People have hobbies and interests. Why and what they can learn from these? (250 words)

Everyone of us has hobbies and interests. Some play music, some take pictures of flowers and some bike around the city as their hobbies. Some are interested in reading classic books, some are interested in handicraft and some are interested in paintings. Those may not be what they are doing for their living or career. However, hobbies and interests are as important in one’s life as education and careers.

We can learn a lot from our hobbies and interests. To learn something well, we need to be interested in it. As for hobbies, we are doing them due to our own interests. Therefore we give more attention and time for them. On the other hand, we can apply the knowledge we learned from one place for the other in our life. Therefore we can learn a lot from our hobbies and interests and apply the knowledge for what is essential for our life – education, career and survival.

One who plant flowers as hobby can learn about them without studying Botany at the university. As for a stamp collector myself, I learn how to arrange all the stamps in place so that I can look for a stamp I want at no time. It helps me keeps things in place at work. Just like me, anyone can learn something useful from their hobbies and interests. The time we used for them wouldn’t be wasted. We may not learn as a professional but those we learn from them are invaluable for us.

How to make the employees keep good mood to work? (250 words)

The success of a company depends partly on in which mood employees are working. It is important to let them have good mood at work, and it will increase the productivity and maintain a wonderful atmosphere at work. State of mood can easily be infected from one person to another. Therefore, it’s important to have employees in good mood so that any one having relationship with the company will also be happy, and the company image will also be good.

A person is happy with what he is doing if he is really interested in it. Therefore, management should aware which employee is interested in what kind of job. Placing the right person at the right place is very important. When one is placed at the job that he is interested in, he will feel very comfortable to work. He won’t feel any burden about it.

It is also very important to maintain a comfortable work place. The ventilation and temperature of the room, the position of tables and chars, and the brightness of the work place play a great role in changing one’s mood at work place. Employees should also be given enough time to rest so that they won’t feel so much stress and pressure. Planning for some games or sports during break time is also a good idea to keep employees in good mood.

As nothing can guarantee that employees would be in good mood, it can only be made sure that all the frustrating and annoying things are reduced as much as possible.

Many students have part-time job while attending high school or university. Most of them take the job for some extra money to buy school supplies while some of them try to get some working
experiences. Some works on campus and others work off campus. Some work only during summer breaks, but some work for the whole year.

I encourage students to get some part-time job while taking classes. That will give them some experiences of the working environment without needing to wait until they get a full time job after graduation. It also help them realize the value of money they are spending at school. Earning money is not as important to some students as to others, but getting real life experiences are equally important to all the students.

However, I don’t want the students to put more efforts into work than studies. While I was working part-time assistant librarian during my sophomore year, the job took a lot of my attention and I started to loose controls on my studies. Working should be a supplement to a student’s life and it shouldn’t be a barrier for his academic achievements.

Working at various places can give a student more experiences, but she should choose the right jobs for her to gain knowledge and experiences for her life. The job does not need to be related to her intended career. However, it should give her opportunities to learn. In my opinion, students should work part-time whether they are in high school or university, and get prepared for life.

Some people believe that the bicycle is the best way to travel from

Some people believe that the bicycle is the best way to travel from one place to another. They use bicycles to commute to work, to get groceries and for leisure. There are both advantages and advantages to travel by bicycles.

Bicycling can give one a good exercise on the way to work. It is good for the health. Most people spend time sitting all day long. They sit on the car or train on the way to work and sit again at the work the whole day. And, they sit again on the way back home. For those people who ride bicycle to work get a lot of exercises without needing to spend extra time. In addition to the physical exercises, riders also get a chance to breath fresh air on the bicycles.

However, there are also risks and dangerous for the bikers. Not all the roads are prepared for bicycles. Riding along with speeding cars is very dangerous for a biker. Moreover, gears for bikers can’t give much protection for them. They can’t also wear heavy protection gears
as motorcyclists. The other danger for the bikers is the air pollution. Those who ride around the city center to their works have to breath in polluted air with emissions from the cars around. It will hurt their overall health. Bikers should wear a mask if they are going along the traffic.

Even though the bicycle is a very good transportation alternative, people should justify the risk and benefits, and ride safely.

Some people agree that all kind jobs should be open to men and women. Some others think some jobs are suitable for men and some jobs are suitable for women. Discuss and give your opinion. (250 words)

People are focusing more on equal opportunity between men and women. Likewise, some believe that all kinds of jobs should be open to men and women. Many even criticize on some job advertisements when the gender is described on them.

Both men and women are human, but they are not born physically or mentally the same. Each gender has its own pros and cons. Therefore, some jobs might really be more suitable for a man than for a woman. On the other hand, some jobs might only be suitable for a woman in general. Moreover, there are also traditional opinions on which job should be done by which gender. They sometimes become unwritten rules.

In reality, not all men are suitable for the job that is believed to be for a man. It depends more on the individual, I believe. Therefore, any individual should be given the same opportunity for any job. On the other hand, the opposite gender should be given a chance to try for the job that was previously done by one gender, so that people would know what they are capable of.

In my opinion, I agree with the idea that all jobs should be open to both men and women. I also assume that any employer should be able to express their preference on the gender of the applicants. As long as they won’t deny one’s application just because of the gender, I think they are doing with fairness. As a conclusion, employers should not discriminate any application based on the gender.

Modern technology makes people more free time, but actually they find they are more busier than before. To what extent, agree or disagree this statement. Give reasons with your experience. (250 words)

New technologies are intended to make one’s life easier. They tend to reduce the workload of human beings and increase the productivity. Modern technologies seem to make people have more free time while the same amount of job is done. However, some people find that they are busier than before as they need to study the new technologies to keep their knowledge updated.

However, not all new technologies are intended to replace a human and reduce it’s workload. Many of them are innovated in order to have more accuracy, efficiency and effectiveness in the workplace. Without using new technologies, one will need to work much longer to get the same accuracy, and precision. In other words, those technologies save the time by producing better results. Some are just expecting those sophisticated equipment to share their workload, but it’s not what those are invented for.

It is not untrue that one needs to spend more time learning those new ways of doing things. Moreover, new devices are created all the time and if one would try to keep updated with all the new innovations, he won’t have time to use them at work. We should use the technologies available to get better result and better productivity. We should be used by the technologies. It’s very important to know which of them are suitable for one’s job. As a conclusion, by choosing the right solution for the particular job, people involved wouldn’t feel that they are wasting their time with the new technologies. Instead, they will appreciate them.
