Dear Sir or Madam,
I took Amtrak train from Seattle to Sacramento last Tuesday. I bought a sleeper so that I would get a good rest on the way to a business meeting. The train left and arrived on time and the service had nothing to complain. However, there was an unfortunate event occurred
on the way. My briefcase was stolen during the night.
It was around 2 a.m. on Wednesday morning when I realized that my briefcase was not found. I put it under the sleeper when I slept. There were a lot of important documents and a laptop computer in the briefcase. As soon as I noticed that it was gone, I notified the train
attendants and security officers. Unfortunately, they couldn’t get it back.
The documents and the computer in the case are too important for me and my company. I expect that your company would cooperate with police in searching for my briefcase and the one who stole it.
